SCAS HARDSHIP FUND

SCAS Executive has decided to allocate limited funds to assist clubs experiencing difficulty in meeting financial commitments through the current ‘lockdown’ situation.

Parameters are:-

Applications can only be for expenditure which must be made within the next four months, eg for ground or facilities rent, or advance payment for tournament equipment hire which cannot be cancelled.
Applicants must show that such expenditure cannot be met from club financial reserves without moving into overdraft.
Applications will treated as Loans repayable within 12 months. In exceptional circumstances such a loan might be converted later into a grant, subject to approval of Council.
Applications should be submitted to the Grants Panel using the Club Loan/Grant application form available on this website, accompanied by a copy of the club’s most recent annual accounts and most recent bank statement showing current balance.
